Area 4th of July Planner

Wondering What's Going On and Where?

We've Made it Easy For You!



Because our area celebrates the 4th on different days, it can be confusing trying to find out what's going on, and on what day it will happen. We decided to put all of our local events in one place to help everyone plan and have the most fun possible.




White Pine

Saturday, June 30th


1pm Parade, Starting at Totem Pole and Ending at the American Legion


Following will be games, food, 50/50 raffle, basket raffles, and much more.


Fireworks at dusk at the White Pine Mineral River Plaza





Greenland

Saturday June 30th


8am Kickball Tournament all day

9:30am Greenland Independence Run, Walk or Roll

11am Kids Games, Bounce Houses

11am Food and Craft Vendors, Raffles, and Face Painting

11am Cornhole Tournament all day

3 on 3 Basketball Tourney, time to be announced

12-8pm Musical Jamboree in the Park

1pm Parade, starting with the kids

9pm-1am Street Dance with Outlaw D

Fireworks at Dusk




Wakefield

July 3

7pm Concert in the Park, at the Old Pavilion in Eddy Park

10pm Lightening on the Lake Fireworks Display, over Sunday Lake


July 4th

6am Salute

8am Sunday Lake Walk-Run

1pm Parade, starting at Cormier’s Corner

1pm Flyover by the Vintage Warbirds

Also, there will be children’s races after the parade at the Roger Randall Field.



Bruce Crossing

July 4th



8-11am VFW Post 9345 Breakfast

9am Community Worship and Pie contest

10am-4pm

Car/tractor show

Craft Fair

Lions Club Free Hayrides

11am-8pm Concession Booth

11am-? The Ottawa Lions Club Chicken BBQ

12 noon The Queen Contest

2pm The Parade

3pm Coin Scramble and Kids Games

3-5pm Pie Social

3pm live music through the afternoon and evening: Burton Tyler, The Paul Family, and Arvon

10:45pm Fireworks

July 4th


6am Poncho’s Salute at Massie Field

9:30am-11:30pm Family Games and Races in Massie Field

1:30pm Children’s Parade starting at City Hall on Sophie St.

2pm Bessemer Volunteer Fire Dept Open House, serving free hot dogs and soda at Bessemer City Fire Hall

2pm Geocache Dash Eds

6pm the Bessemer High School Band will March the Parade Route

Memory Lane Car Cruise right before Parade

7pm Bessemer’s Giant 4th of July Parade

9-10pm Marty’s Goldenaire’s Concert


10pm Thunder on the Mountain Fireworks
